We opened 5 medical centres in 5 different villages and towns to provide access to quality healthcare at lower cost

In the health sector, we opened 5 medical centres in 5 different villages and towns, namely Bwegera, Kiyaya, Kilibula,Rugembe and rehabilitated the Ndolera clinic.

The opening of these medical centres (clinics) is part of the 2024-2026 vision to promote primary healthcare, provide access to quality healthcare at lower cost and promote proximity healthcare services.

Most of these clinics are being opened in remote areas where roads are not accessible, which will enable patients to receive treatment in their villages and prevent maternal mortality. This programme will also make it easier for pregnant women to give birth in their villages and promote the activities of midwives.

The people of these villages and towns were very happy and delighted to see the opening of medical centres in their areas.

They thanked Dr Luc MULIMBALIMBA and the MHCD for their initiative and vision in creating these local medical centres.

About MHCD

MHCD was founded out of Dr Luc’s compassion for the people of Kenya and in his home town of Luvungi in Eastern D.R. Congo.  After working in Kenya and coming back to Luvungi in 2006 he was so touched by the plight of the desperately poor and disadvantaged people, particularly women and children that he immediately committed to helping them by providing medical assistance.
